Hello.. I am Julieanne Reel and I run a company called Mindful Kids Ireland www.mindfulkidsireland.com
I travel around schools and groups teaching Mindfulness to children. I wanted to create a way in to Mindfulness that is fun and useful to children in their daily lives, and so I created Mindful Moe.

Let me tell you a little bit about Mindful Moe. Moe is an educational product. He is fun, interactive, cuddly, but most of all he is here to encourage your child's good mental health and well-being. He is the perfect little buddy for any child!
Moe teaches the formal practice of Mindfulness (Meditation) at the touch of a paw. He guides your child using 3 different audio meditations:
a calming meditation to practise anytime day or night. Neuro science tells us that regular mindfulness practise is linked to changes in brain function. These changes can help your child to self-regulate, build resilience and improve attention skills. This makes the practice particularly useful in times of high emotion ie: anger, anxiety, stress, worry, disappointment, confusion, frustration, fear etc.
a meditation to aid sleep - inviting your child to notice sensations as they mentally scan parts of the body.
a loving kindness meditation to instil compassion and kindness for oneself and others - imagine a world where everyone is kind!!!
Mindful Moe has been tried and tested with many children. The children appear to be naturally drawn to him and have said that they feel soothed from cuddling his soft plush and listening to his gentle voice.

"Most of us have issues that we find hard to let go and mindfulness can help us deal with them more productively." from NHS.UK
"Well conducted mindfulness interventions can improve the mental, emotional, social and physical health and wellbeing of young people who take part. It has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, reactivity and challenging behaviour, improves sleep and self-esteem, and bring about greater calmness, relaxation, the ability to manage behaviour and emotions, self-‐awareness and empathy. Mindfulness can contribute directly to the development of cognitive and performance skills and executive function. It can help young people pay greater attention, be more focused, think in more innovative ways, use existing knowledge more effectively, improve working memory, and enhance planning, problem solving, and reasoning skills." from Mindfulness in Schools Project.
